SLIFR : The Noisy Version

This is a DVD commentary recorded by Dennis Cozzalio, propreitor of Sergio Leone and the Infield Fly Rule, and actor Bruce Lundy, who currently resides in Eugene, Oregon, where National Lampoon’s Animal House was filmed 31 years ago this coming October. Dennis and Bruce, both cast as Delta Tau Chi extras during their first freshman terms at the University of Oregon, met on the set, have been best friends ever since, and on this podcast take the listener on a journey of reminisences and anecdotes about the filming of the movie fueled by observations made from their own particular perspectives. The commentary should work for either the 1998 20th-anniversary DVD or the Double Secret Probation edition DVD released in 2003. Just pause the DVD at the first sight of the field of stars that marks the Universal logo as the first strains of Elmer Bernstein’s score are heard, then wait for the beep tone after the introductory remarks on the podcast to begin the commentary.
